Over 17 thousand Aston Martins recalled to replace throttle pedal (RA-03-0017)
Aston Martin has issued a recall for all LHD models built since November 2007, plus all RHD models built since May 2012, a total of 17,590 cars. Affected cars will have to return to the dealer to have the throttle pedal replaced and the “foot well scuff plate adjusted”.
Your kid wants to have an Aston too? Just get him this ‘DB Convertible Junior’
I am not sure what to think of this. A kid size DB5 convertible look-a-like for ÂŁ16,500? The West London based Aston Martin Heritage Dealer Nicholas Mee & Co is now offering this fully functioning, petrol-engined car for children, called the “DB Convertible Junior”.

Do you have a dog? And an Aston Martin? Then here’s a tip: Don’t let your dog near your car, otherwise this might happen. Ouch!

CC100 Speedster Concept voted “Most beautiful concept car of the year”
Obviously everybody knows that Aston Martin makes the most beautiful cars in the world. But it’s nice to see that fact confirmed by some “official” jury once in a while: This week, at The Festival Automobile International in Paris, the CC100 Speedster Concept was voted the “Most beautiful concept car of the year”. No arguments here. Just look at it, what a beauty. Here’s some more photos I took of the CC100 at the Parade event at the NĂĽrburgring last year:
Wrapping the V12 Vanquish S in Xpel Ultimate paint protection film
This week my V12 Vanquish S was at WrapMyRide. No, don’t worry, not to have it wrapped in some wild color like I have done to my Vantages in the past. The Vanquish is going to stay as is, in its’ gorgeous Tungsten Silver. It was at WrapMyRide to be partly wrapped in Xpel Ultimate paint protection film.
