Last week (5 – 9 February) in Paris, the Retromobile fair was held, a great event with classic cars and the history of motorsports. One of the cars offered at the auction during this event was this 1962 Aston Martin DB4 GT (series IV) and it got sold for €1.184.500,-.
We found this rare DB4 GT Zagato on eBay. It is for sale at Collector Motors in Texas. Looking at the price tag (US $2.4 million) you would think that this example is one of the 19 original Zagato’s. But no, this black beauty that is for sale is a unique one-off custom built project.
Cars and watches go well together, so for our new Aston Goodies category we’ll regularly cover typical Aston Martin watches. Today we’ll look at the Christopher Ward C70 DBR1 chronowatch.
Are you a model car collector or just a fan of the Aston Martin V12 Zagato? Or maybe an owner of a real V12 Zagato looking for a mini version of your own car? Then check out this 1/43 scale V12 Zagato in the Lamborghini color “Arancio Borealis”!
If you are looking for a real bond car, then this is your chance! At dupontregistry you can find an 1964 Aston Martin DB5 with chassis number DB5/2008/R, fully implemented with Bond gadgets (evolving license plates, hubcap blades, hidden guns, a bulletproof screen, radar, a smoke machine and some other cool things that are indispensable for 007). The DB5 is one of four DB5’s made for the Bond movie franchise and this particular one was created for promotional use of the movie Thunderball.
