A Vanquish S, yes the “old” Vanquish, has been on my wish list for a long time.
And today I came across this beauty, for sale at Nicholas Mee in the UK.
You know I love my cars in actual colors right? Well, this one is perfect. It’s in Toro Red and the interior is a combination of Obsidian Black and Chancellor Red.
Plus, this is a rare manual conversion Vanquish. You see, the Vanquish and Vanquish S have only been built with an automatic gearbox. Or to be more precise, an automated manual box, controlled with paddles on the steering wheel (electrohydraulic manual transmission). However, this one has been converted by Aston Martin Works to a real manual gearbox, that is, with a real gear shift.
Too bad that it is Right Hand Drive (a no go for me), otherwise I would be very tempted.
